Finding Daily Inspiration in Difficult Times

August 20th, 2008 by DitiemsBlog2467

Daily inspiration helps us to stay focused on God’s love, no matter what else is going on in our daily lives. In today’s world there is such a high level of challenge and rapid change happening for most of us, that it has become even more important to find a way to stay connected with our hearts, and with our inner connection with spirit.

There are many ways we can tap into our inner connection with God and spirit; however it is not always simple to do so. The demands of daily life can be compelling, and can cause us to forget our connection to spirit. A regular spiritual practice of meditation or prayer can be very helpful in focusing thought, energy and intention towards God. Even five or ten minutes a day can have a significant beneficial impact on the entire day.

Why Daily Inspiration is so Important Now

The process of spiritual transformation involves the release of everything within us that has been out of balance and out of harmony with God’s love. This process is happening individually and for humanity as a whole at this time. The problems manifesting in our world are an expression of this imbalance, and are being manifest now in order to be transformed.

At this time on the Earth there is a great deal of negative energy surfacing and releasing into the atmosphere of the planet. This is related to the process of global purification that is happening as humanity’s consciousness evolves towards greater connection with spirit, and as the presence of God’s light strengthens on the Earth. The spiritual awakening that is beginning to happen for humanity is illuminating within all of us everything that has been kept separated from God’s love.

These energies that are releasing through the process of purification affect all of us, especially sensitive souls who are attuned to the spiritual levels of reality. Staying connected to a source of spiritual nourishment and inspiration each day helps us to avoid getting immersed in the negative energies that are present, and helps us to feel nourished and sustained during difficult times.

Some people feel these negative energies physically or in their consciousness, some people feel this energy at night in their dreams. Many people now are feeling these energies emotionally, and are not aware that what they are feeling is related to much a larger process than their own individual emotional challenges.

Our individual spiritual healing journey is connected with the larger journey of transformation that is happening for all of humanity. It is not always possible to discern what energy is our own personal healing, and what is related to the larger collective healing process of humanity.

When you become aware of difficult emotions or energies, there are three things that can help to move these out of your body and consciousness.

1. Be aware of what you are feeling at any given moment.
2. Release any judgment or fear associated with the emotions or energies you are experiencing
3. Ask God to transform and transmute the energies and emotions.

During the process of purification it is essential to stay connected with God, with daily inspiration, and with others of like mind and like heart who can share the journey with us and help to strengthen our love and faith. It is not easy to overcome old habits that created unconsciousness and a disconnection from our hearts. Support is needed, and daily spiritual practice and inspiration are the nourishment which sustains us.

Your willingness and commitment to stay connected with God’s love brings many rewards such as greater inner peace, more equanimity during times of challenge, and growing sense of confidence in your ability to feel God’s love. You are also helping the Earth and other people around you, because we are all connected. When you are radiating love and light, and focusing your attention on God’s love, then your presence has a beneficial impact on those around you.

In reaching out to God each day, focusing our hearts on receiving more of God’s love, we are able find a pathway through the challenges of life today. Even during times of difficulty, a new doorway begins to open, towards a new possibility for ourselves and for humanity.

8 Reasons To Fall In Love With Marrakech Travel

August 20th, 2008 by DitiemsBlog2467

Just beneath the high mountain range of the African Atlas is the red city of Morocco known as Marrakech. With a culture that has grown to be so vibrant, free, and pure, who would have known that this imperial city only started as another pit stop for medieval caravans? However, regardless of its humble beginnings, you’ll still be bound by its magic spell with the warmth of its people, inspiring history, and colorful tradition. Standing in the middle of the red city walls, you’ll know for sure that you’re in for a timeless escape with Marrakech travel. But to make the most out of your journey to this spellbinding exotic destination, here are the top eight things you shouldn’t dare miss on your Marrakech travel:

1. Relive the memories of the old city.

The 13th century walls that surround the medina is reminiscent of ancient struggles and battles that took place in Morocco. A tour around the age-old fortresses, gates, and tanneries in your Marrakech travel is a good photo opportunity for tourists. Not only that, you’ll also enjoy the inviting spirit of the modern city amidst the well-preserved relics, natural wonders, and architectural pieces of the past. With friendly people and bustling activities around the corner, you’ll enjoy every minute of this experience.

2. Get lost with the crowd at Djemaa el Fna.

This large square that lies at heart of the old city is teeming with too many spectacles and surprises. From bargain shopping to snake charming, you’ll never have a dull moment in your Marrakech travel. Open your eyes to a lot of things, which include juggling acts, musical performances, as well as belly dancing. You don’t even have to worry about losing your way back to your hotel. As overwhelmingly large as it can be, the square offers a winding escape to interesting sites around the city.

3. Take a spiritual retreat.

They say that paying a visit to popular trails of mosques, churches, and other places of worship is a wonderful Marrakech travel experience that can be life-altering. However, for those who only wish to satisfy their curiosities, time is well-spent in admiring some of the most exquisite architectural designs in the world. You’ll be stunned how Marrakech was able to preserve the intricate details and premedieval style of these structures but much more, how it preserved its solemnity. The famous pilgrimage for the seven saints is also found in this city, while the Saadian tombs is highly recommended by most tourist guides.

4. Shop and explore its very best.

Popular market stands also known as souks offer the best treat for bargain shopping. The bazaar is usually filled with exotic finds such as metal works, wood pieces, baskets, and leather sets– some of which, you’ll only find in Morocco. You’ll also be advised not to end your Marrakech travel without a belt, jewelry, carpet, or any form of clothing that are found in the souk.

5. Take a journey to the past.

Marrakech is one of the best places to find age-old ceramics, paintings, mosaic, jewelries, and fabrics. Its museums house prestigious artifacts that date back to more than a thousand years. Manuscripts, contemporary arts, and traditional clothing are among the well-preserved collection. You may also take note in your Marrakech travel experience that museums here are not just brick-and-mortar structures but are also adorned with verdant gardens.

6. Stay in luxurious Riads in Marrakech.

Your Marrakech travel experience will not be complete without staying in the city’s famous Riads. These are residential facilities that top any 5-star hotel in modern cities. With luxurious rooms, overlooking views of the fountain, roof top terraces, and exquisite decorations, Riads are one of the best reasons to stay in Marrakech.

7. Experience the colorful tradition of Morocco.

Embrace the Moroccan culture through entertainment activities and festivals in Marrakech. The Popular Arts Festival is a good way to add more life to your Marrakech travel adventures. Have a great time with fortune-tellers, fire swallowers, and acting troupes in the culmination of this festivity. Apart from carnival spectacles, you’ll also witness the horse-riding parade known as Fantasia.

8. Treat yourself to fun-filled activities.

Popular streams of casinos, discos, and bars are found in the city. But remember, alcoholic drinks are not allowed. Chances are, you’ll have to stay sober all night. Apart from enjoying Western hits and Moroccan pop music, your Marrakech travel adventure can never be complete without experiencing a taste of its gourmet paradise. Most cafes and restaurants in Marrakech offer a fusion of flavors from home grown recipes to international dishes.

Food for a Healthy Immune System and for Overall Good Health

August 20th, 2008 by DitiemsBlog2467

Focusing on food for a healthy immune system can increase overall good health and nutrition. Foods that build your immune system are rich in vitamins, minerals, trace elements and omega-3 fatty acids. Including these foods in your weekly diet can improve your energy levels and decrease the number of colds and other bugs that you get every year.

Some people rely on daily multi-vitamins and dietary supplements, instead of food for a healthy immune system and good supplements are always a good idea. It is not always possible to eat the right foods in the right combination every day. For instance, you may think of oranges or orange juice when you think of foods that build your immune system, but oranges are not the only foods that contain Vitamin C. And if you don’t have enough calcium and magnesium in your diet, then your cells cannot efficiently absorb Vitamin C. Complicating things further, if you drink a glass of orange juice and a glass of milk, then the acidic content of the juice can sour the milk, leading to stomach upset.

People who have frequent heartburn or are lactose intolerant may not be able to include either orange juice or milk in their diets. Citrus fruits are highly acidic and trigger heartburn in many people. Regular milk causes bloating, pain, gas and diarrhea in people who are lactose intolerant. So, what is a person to do?

Crabmeat, lobster and oysters are all rich in calcium, magnesium and vitamin C. Salmon is an important food for a healthy immune system and is often referred to as a “super food” by dieticians and nutritionists, because it contains numerous vitamins and minerals, plus a healthy amount of omega-3 fatty acids, believed to be beneficial in preventing heart disease, cancer and arthritis. Broccoli, tomatoes, peaches and apples are good sources of Vitamin C and are all foods that build your immune system. Broccoli is another food that contains numerous vitamins and minerals, including Vitamin C, calcium, magnesium and selenium. Not familiar with selenium?

Selenium is an essential trace mineral that may not be included in your daily multi-vitamin, but very important to human health. It is essential to proper immune system function, as well as numerous metabolic pathways. Remember chicken soup? Chicken is another good source of selenium and is one of the foods that build your immune system strength.

Like mushrooms? Researchers studying foods that build immune system strength by increasing white blood cell counts learned that shitake mushrooms worked. The study concluded that beta glucans found in edible mushrooms increased white blood cell counts. White blood cells are primary infection fighters. Don’t like mushrooms? Beta glucans are biologically active compounds found in numerous plant foods and some immune system dietary supplements.

So, in order to include some of the best foods that build your immune system in your weekly diet, eat salmon, tuna and/or seafood three or four times a week, chicken three or four times a week, a variety of fruits and vegetables including broccoli and mushrooms, whenever possible. Relying on food for a healthy immune system may not be enough, depending on where you live or work. A daily multi-vitamin can help and there are immune system supplements that contain beta glucans, herbs and other ingredients that can also help, particularly during cold and flu season. Lawyers, Guns and Money

August 20th, 2008 by DitiemsBlog2467

The cry for help by Warren Zevon to “send lawyers, guns and money” was intended to help him.

Today the cry is from the lawyers… and it goes like this… “send clients, time and money.

Maybe the legal industry should consider asking Warren to re-write his song especially for them. A song that will help lawyers obtain new quality clients who can pay their bills while giving lawyers more time.

The ultra-ultra competitive legal industry is awash in all kind of headaches which make the day-to-day life of practicing law not much fun.

Finding new quality clients is almost a full-time job. There are so many legal specialties flooded with other lawyers offering the same specialty that the public is taking the Wal-Mart approach and buying from the lowest-cost provider.

Unfortunately this pattern just makes things worse, as lawyers feel the pressure to compete on price…so they lower their fees, which causes their competitors to do the same.

Ultimately this produces a downward spiral for legal fees which benefits the public (maybe) but hurts law practices.

Today’s legal client has the same problems as yesterday’s legal client had but… they want more-for- less and they don’t even want to pay for it.

These new clients are well informed, they’re internet savvy, they ask for discounts and they shop for lawyers like they shop for a new TV.

When they finally make a decision to retain a lawyer…they start acting like they are the only client the lawyer has. They expect their new lawyer to take their endless phone calls, get their case filed or settled overnight, balk at retainers and slow pay or no pay on future invoices.

But wait there is more…because many lawyers feel forced into taking these new clients at low fees, they often find themselves working on cases which won’t make them any money.

Once a lawyer gets to this point…it’s not good for the client or the lawyer. The lawyer realizes that they can’t put anymore time into a case, as the client is not going to pay more…so they want to end the case as soon as possible and get it off their desk.

The client is still thinking (hoping) for the best possible outcome (typically very unreasonable) and the lawyer simply wants the case over. The lawyer feels bad about the case as it’s become a financial train wreck and they realize they should have charged the client a much higher fee.

The bottom line is most Lawyers are working harder today and making less than they were 10 years ago. The hourly rates they quote are often not realized and if they are it’s because of a huge amount of personal effort being expended each hour. Something most lawyers can’t keep up for long.

If you’re sick and tired of cash flow issues, trying to find clients while collecting your billings…then you need The Most Magical Skill That Turns Almost Any Struggling Law Practice Into A Stress-Free, “No-Work” Profit Making Machine…”!

Taking Home Movies To The Next Level

August 20th, 2008 by DitiemsBlog2467

With the powerful, yet easy to use video editing software on the market today, it’s easy to just shoot, drop it in the editor, and burn it to a disk. What’s even easier is ending up with mediocre results. With just a little more attention you can turn average into spectacular. Most standard video editors, such as the one that comes bundled into Windows, Microsoft’s Movie Maker, have many features that, if used with some restraint, can help polish the finished product. With a little planning and some time spent in planning before compiling, you can make some memorable videos, and enhance your memories and your video records.

Here are some general rules that I like to follow:

* Keep it simple; a well-thought out five minute video is far more effective than a thirty-minute, no cuts, no-breaks-taken video. It’s OK to think in terms of chapters and to make each one a separate file. You can always combine them into longer works.

* Keep everything simple; pick just a few transitions and reuse them sparingly; avoid the temptation to apply all those radical filters. If you choose to use a special effect, use it once and make it count. If you are using still images, a simple fade transition works best.

* Choose a reasonable scene length. If you shoot ten minutes of video without pause, experiment with breaking it up into much shorter clips. Avoid the 3-second rule currently in vogue in commercials, where each scene only lasts 3 seconds. Some software will allow the program itself to break up any video file into several scenes, either by a detection algorithm, or by a set time span. Most can do this automatically.

* Edit edit edit. Good film making results in a fairly cluttered cutting room floor. Don’t be afraid to edit out uncle Henry’s silly dance. Consider editing out any really noticeable camera shakes. The idea is communicate the overall event or experience, not to record every single detail.

* Visual presentations must sound right. If you underestimate the power of sound, try watching a movie without the sound. You probably won’t last five minutes. Most of us live in a world filled with sound, and your videos should pay as much attention to the sound as any other feature. You should consider an audio editor program that will allow you to do several things; you should be able to strip out the original sound; you should be able to overdub, or add your voice to the recorded video sound track; you should be able to enhance your voiceovers or the original sound. Video recorders are not the best sound recorders.

* Titles, not family genealogies. Titles are a very effective tool; they can set the mood, position the presentation, and focus attention. They should be brief and this is one place where it’s OK to get a little crazy/creative. Slide in, fly out, different colors, interesting typefaces, go for it. Just don’t overdo it.

A final word; you don’t have to spend a fortune to have a full-featured video editing studio. I got ShowBiz, an ArcSoft product bundled into some burner software; it is a fully capable video editor. Avnex makes audio and video editors and morphers that you can download and try for free at www.audio4fun.com. Their Voice Changer Software Diamond 4.0 is one of my favorites, as it does for audio what the video editors do for visuals. Microsoft’s Movie Maker and Movie Maker II are also very capable video editors. And finally, don’t be afraid to experiment and to try altering the combinations of elements as you develop your video. Most programs will let you save elements as ‘projects’, which allows you access to the individual elements over and over. By following these simple steps and thinking creatively you can raise your home videos to a new level.

Good Shih Tzu Bathing Techniques Are Essential For Healthy Coats And Skin

August 20th, 2008 by DitiemsBlog2467

A good bathing technique is essential for keeping your Shih Tzu’s hair in good shape and keeping skin problems at a minimum. A lot of Shih Tzu owners say they have skin problems. This is a problem I have not encountered a lot in my existence with the Shih Tzu. However, it does happen more in some bloodlines. Follow the instructions in this article and you should have no problem in keeping a nice smelling and clean Shih Tzu in your presence at all times.

Gather together everything that is needed before you start to bath your Shih Tzu. This is always handier than having to run here and there gathering up your supplies and tools once the process begins.

The first bath you give your Shih Tzu may be traumatic. It truly is best to delay bathing Shih Tzu puppies until they are at least 3 months old. For the first bath you might try using a small bowl, dishpan or the kitchen sink rather than the bathtub. Always be sure the water is neither too cold or to hot. Shih Tzu puppies react violently sometimes to either extreme. Be careful your Shih Tzu puppy does not jump or wiggle out of your hands. If the temperature of water is “just right,” there will be less chance of the Shih Tzu puppy wiggling out of your hands. Use a mild shampoo especially formulated for dogs that is “tearless.” Regular baby shampoo can be used. I have never had a problem with dry skin when I used baby shampoo. It is just harder to rinse out. Shampoo formulated especially for dogs and puppies is usually easier to rinse out. I do like using Fluffy Puppy shampoo for puppies and even on the faces of my older Shih Tzu because it is tearless.

Pouring water gently over your Shih Tzu puppy in the kitchen sink, a small bowl or dishpan is much less alarming than using a high powered sprayer. Once your Shih Tzu puppy is use to his bath, you can try using the spray attachment which is much better and faster at getting out all the shampoo. You can also use a gallon milk jug (when it is empty and rinsed out of course) to first pour water over the puppy. After being washed, the Shih Tzu puppy must be dried off completely before being allowed outside again.

An older Shih Tzu can be washed in the bathtub using a shower attachment. Place a rubber mat in the bottom of the tub to provide firm footing just as you would for yourself. Your choice of shampoo and conditioner depends upon the type of coat your Shih Tzu has. Avoid using human shampoo on your Shih Tzu. I have used Pantene, but like the baby shampoo, it is harder to rinse out of the hair and I just don’t like the way it leaves the Shih Tzu’s hair looking dull. Many Shih Tzu are allergic to human shampoo. I have found them to be “itchy” after a bath with human shampoo. I switched over completely to shampoos especially formulated for dogs. Some human shampoos have been known to coat each hair and build up after use, which is probably what causes the itching. There are so many really good brands of dog shampoo on the market these days; there is truly no good reason to use human shampoo on your Shih Tzu. In summertime it is a good idea to use a shampoo to fight against fleas.

Be prepared to get splashed as your Shih Tzu gets older in the bath. Either wear grooming aprons made especially for this function or wrap a large towel around you.

If you are afraid you might get water in the ears of your Shih Tzu, plug the ears with cotton before beginning the bath. Getting water in the ears can cause ear infections.

Really wet down the hair of a Shih Tzu good before applying the shampoo. Pour the shampoo down the middle of the Shih Tzu’s back. As it runs down each side work it into the hair with a squeezing movement of the fingers. Do not rub or massage. The coat is more apt to become tangled with rubbing movements. The best way to get the cleanest hair is to gently squeeze the shampoo through the hair really working up a thick, good lather. You will need to pour a little extra shampoo on each leg and foot, the tail, chest and stomach areas. Lift your Shih Tzu up by the front legs to shampoo the stomach and then wash the chest. Wash the head and face last using the tearless shampoo.

If you are bathing a very dirty Shih Tzu, you will need rinse really well and repeat the process, then rinse really good again.

A good human hair dryer works find for the Shih Tzu. Brush the hair while blowing drying in order to make the hair straight.

MYSQL Database Back Up And Recovery

August 20th, 2008 by DitiemsBlog2467

Do you know that many of the scripts that help us to run our business or websites use MYSQL databases to store their information.

For instance many people use Auto responders to help with collecting and delivering information.

Scripts that produce one time offers, promotion offers, coupons etc all use mysql to store their information.

Mail merge programs often use mysql database to store information.

Wordpress the blog building software that lots of people use to write their blogs uses mysql to store this information.

What a lot of these users don’t know is that if they have not backed up their mysql database, then they could lose all their data, this would mean that if they had not backed up their database, they could lose all their customers information, all the email addresses that their auto responder stores in the mysql database.

Any and all information that is collated by the many scripts that run on websites could be lost and the scripts could stop working, all because they did not back up their database. now how you might ask do I know so much about this?

Well I can tell you from first hand experience that losing your database because your server has crashed and lost or scrambled your database can be very expensive, time consuming and frustrating.

Yes It happened to me, I did not back up my database,

My server crashed and like you I assumed that my provider would have backed everything up.

But NO they don’t, some do, but lots simply leave it to their customers.

So what can be done, well you could go into all your databases, everyday or maybe weekly and back up your database, If of course you know how to access your database with phpadmin and you know how to back up your database, and you all so know how to restore it should you need to……

Or you could use a simple easy to use software that will back up each and every database you have daily, and at the press of a button restore your database for you.

Sounds good, where do you find an expensive bit of software to do that for you?

Well I was so shocked at losing my data, I took the time and trouble to find a software that will do just that, but at a very low cost, yes that’s right low cost, my database backup generator software will do all that for you and at low cost, check out it out today at www.databasebackup.co.uk http://www.databasebackup.co.uk read my own sorry story, check out my video that shows just how easy it is to use and you will be pleasantly surprised at how affordable my database backup generator really is.

What Writers Must Know about Internet Commerce

August 20th, 2008 by DitiemsBlog2467

Let’s assume you’re a writer and you want to make money by writing. In the olden days (last year, maybe) you would think up an article idea, hammer a few paragraphs out, and then check with some editors if they were interested in buying a finished product.

If you were lucky, you sold it. If you were not exactly unlucky, the editor rejected your idea but paid you to go out and write something else. And the most common response was a great big bunch of nothing. No response. No answer. No sale.

You have probably heard that a writer can make money on the Internet, but you’re probably thinking, How on earth is that possible? After all, just about every job offer that comes to writers for Internet type stuff pays less than even a skinflint magazine editor would have paid ten years ago for the same material. The big difference is that the Internet publishers seeking writing support want their content virtually overnight and the old-fashioned editors did not mind giving you a few weeks.

There are two ways to make money on the Internet and they mirror the ways people make money in the brick-and-mortar business world. First, you can sell something. Whether it’s ceiling fans or candles or airline tickets, you can make money if you have a product that you can trade to people for cash.

The other way you can make money online is by selling advertising. The best models for this include TV programs, magazines, and newspapers. Take a TV program; it’s content that is offered for free to people who want to see it. A newspaper isn’t exactly free, but it contains a lot of high-value content from around the world and it’s offered at a very nominal fee (less than it costs to print it, I bet) to just about anyone who wants it. They’ll even bring it to your house every morning! Who else will deliver for a product that does not even cost a dollar-for no extra shipping and handling fee?

Then there are magazines. They cost more but they’re still a great buy considering the content you get, the articles, the pictures, and the sheer volume of printed pages.

So how do these enterprises make money? They do it by offering content that people want and then selling advertisement. TV shows make money because they sell some of their viewing time to advertisers who offer commercials. Newspapers and magazines do take in some subscription money, but the thing that keeps them in business is ad revenue.

And how do advertisers manage to survive? Smart businesses know the best opportunities for their particular type of advertisements. There’s a whole science to that. If a well-placed smart commercial on a certain TV show increases sales, then everybody wins. The company earns money because the ad draws customers; the TV show earns money because it sells time (and eyeballs) to the advertiser.

You can build a website that features lots of top-quality content and then sell advertising on that site.

Now you can’t just throw up any old site (and the operative word here is throw up ) and figure that advertising will work. You need a quality product. You also have to offer something of value.

That’s where the good news comes in: you’re a writer.

You can create your own online magazine of sorts. The goal is to attract people interested in the same subject to look at your site. There’s a whole science to that, too. But if you do it right, people on your site may be interested in ads on related subjects.

The Internet is all about niches. Let’s say you want to write about dogs. Bad idea. It’s too broad for the Internet. With the Internet you have to think narrow. You could write about dog training. Or adopting poodles from the pound. Or photographing dogs.

The idea is that your highly targeted information will resonate with a particular subset of readers. With billions of Internet search a year, you don’t need to have broad appeal to get a big audience.

Then you sell advertising. Now in the traditional business model, that meant pounding the pavement, talking to potential advertisers, and often working with them to get an ad finalized. Then you had to hound them for payment.

On the Internet, you can sign up with search providers to put ads on your site. These ads (offered by the big search engines) use electronic algorithms to automatically match ads by content to your site so that your dog training site won’t offer ads for gastric bypass surgery. You don’t sell a single ad: you merely clear some room for Google or Yahoo to put ads on your site. They match the ads to your content.

In the print world of our ancient ancestors, an advertiser paid if his ad ran, regardless of whether anyone responded. Internat ads work on a different model; they run for free and the advertiser pays only when somebody clicks on them. This is what is meant when they say advertisers pay for clicks.

The good news is that you can find qualified advertisers and start generating ad revenues from a website pretty quickly without ever having direct contact with your advertisers.

You can also get advertisers the old-fashioned way by selling space on your site to individual vendors. Those arrangements are worked out individually.

Savvy Internet entrepreneurs can make money either selling products (including electronic products like e-books or online courses and now even online audios) or selling advertising or a bit of both. There are strategies for what to use and how, but those are the basics.

So what exactly does this mean for us writers? Writers need to start thinking about what they write not just in terms of how to tell the story, but how to best position the content in the marketplace.

If you can set up a wholesale arrangement with local or even international vendors, you can sell products using a shopping cart type website, lots of photos, and some cool product descriptions.

If you have the expertise (or can get it) and can write about how to beat a speeding ticket, land a job working on a cruise ship, or sell your home without a real estate agent, you can write electronic content (e-book, e-course, other materials that are delivered online including audios and videos) and sell that.

First, of course, you have to understand how these kinds of enterprises actually function. Even some off-the-wall business angles are good to study, because the same principles always apply. You target a specific niche market, develop content to attract visitors, and then sell either advertising, products, or both.

Cheap Secured Loan - How Cheap Can I Go?

August 20th, 2008 by DitiemsBlog2467

When you hear the word “cheap” what does it conjure up for you? Can it be the pair of shoes that you are wearing or the new house that you purchased not long ago? So no matter what the product is having something of a better quality but at a cheaper rate, how often would you not jump at the chance to possess something like that. If you are that type of person, then may be it is time for you to look at getting a “cheap secured loan”. These kinds of loans have been specifically set up to fulfill a persons financial requirements. Often such loans will help a customer to obtain a cheaper and more accessible rate than any other loans that are currently available.

However, a secured loan is a loan where the borrower must place collateral against the amount of the loan that they have taken out. The collateral they use can either be a house, car or any other related asset and works as security on behalf of the borrower. A cheaper secured loan is a secured loan which is provided to the borrower at a lower rate of interest than normally provided by the lender and certainly this type of interest rate is always an added benefit to any borrower. Often these type of loans the lending company or bank will offer the borrower a longer repayment period, which is often an additional benefit to those borrowers who choose to opt for these types of loans.

Often a cheap secured loan can be used for a variety of purposes such as the borrower wants to purchase a new car, or take a vacation or it may be that they want to make some improvements to their home. Some people even use such loans for consolidate debts that they already have into one easy to manage account.

Often such secured loans come at a lower rate of interest than normal loans because they are secured against the borrowers property and will often have the added benefit of a flexible repayment period. With such loans one can often borrower a larger sum of money and the loans offered can range from £5,000 to £100,000. However, the amount being offered really depends on the security being offered by the borrower. As mentioned previously such loans will provide the provider with an extended repayment period and because of this the borrower often gets a cheaper interest rate and can pay the loan back over a longer and more easily manageable period of time. Often the period time in which the loan has to be paid back generally ranges from between 5 to 25 years.

You can easily obtain a cheap secured loan from the many different banks, lending societies and financial institutes that are around. But the best method of obtaining a cheap secured loan is by going online. Using this method the borrower has access to a large number of loans that are available from trusted lenders. This method allows a borrower to look at and read the terms and conditions of the lenders loan facilities and thus make a qualified assessment of all the facilities that are available to them.

Former Boring Professional Reveals…”How Almost Any Attorney or Accountant Can Start Having Fun While Making More Money!”

August 20th, 2008 by DitiemsBlog2467

Jack McDonough is bringing a rather refreshing spin to two of the most traditionally staid professions… law and accounting.

Although Jack understands the need for core technical competency in both fields, he has never understood why they have to be so BORING. And for the life of him, Jack can’t get why those who practice in these fields seem to become as equally boring as the mundane tasks they perform.

Jack knows that the words “law” and “accounting” alone can conjure up all types of fear for those people who are forced to deal with such professionals. And the truth is that these legal and accounting professionals are nothing but paid messengers for situations that have just cost clients their money, their sleep, and/or their time.

Given that, why not choose to make the process as fun as possible - and lucrative as all get out?
(Do you need a minute to think about that?)

Even thought it seems simple enough, the real problem is that these professions are way ‘over-professionalized’ (especially law). There are just too many professionals chasing too few clients (and their dollars). Makes trying to have fun as a professional way too difficult, because every professional is constantly trying to lure away other professionals’ clients.

Unfortunately, Jack was not immune to being professionally boring either…as he searched for new clients just like everybody else. For those of you who know Jack, being boring is not his strong suit. He can fake it (if he has to) for awhile. But in reality, he is the kind of guy who makes you laugh at funerals…mostly because you’re not suppose to. He will pipe up at important meetings about stuff that most people would never discuss …and later have people thank him “for saying what everybody was thinking…but no one would say.”

Why is he like that? Who knows…but he is.

For those professionals in the legal and accounting professions who have been lucky enough to come in contact with Jack…they’ve been rewarded with straight-up advice - that when applied - allowed them to have fun everyday as a professional, make more money than they every imagined, work less hours, and most importantly, live the life they used to only dream about. It most cases the lives they now live are filled with time - to spend with kids, spouses, family and friends.

Jack enjoys telling professionals about how great life can be as a ‘professional’…that is, if they could only do it their way - instead of how everybody else in the profession thinks it should be done. Unfortunately, most accountants and attorneys still sell their time by the hour and end up selling the best part of their own lives for a relatively low hourly wage. If you really only want to get paid by the hour…then get a real job. It’s easier, less stressful and you’ll make more money.

Jack knows that if you want to have fun as a professional while making as much money as you want and have lots of time off…then you can’t be like all the other professionals doing the same old stuff, like you’re doing right now.

Why?

It doesn’t work. You don’t have to believe Jack…look around at your peers. Check out how much time they take off. How is their health? Are their relationships solid? Do they have income? Have they fully funded their retirement or are they waiting for the big case or the big year to take care of that? How many weeks a year are they really on vacation? Do they have time for a hobby?

Jack spent years fighting it out in the trenches, too. By working a ton and growing his own accounting firm, and he did relatively well at it. He made good money. BUT, he left for work in the dark and came home in the dark. He worked most weekends and always brought more work home. His ultimate reward for all this work was getting divorced after 17 years of marriage.

What Jack learned from all of that was this…If you want to successful as a professional, you need to create a practice which is both fun and lucrative. If you’re missing either of these key ingredients to professional success…then you’ll be missing out on life. Don’t do it!

Jack maintains his CPA certificate in the state of Colorado as he continues to help thousands of professionals each year in both the legal and accounting fields to break out of the boring mode that most professionals become trapped in. And he shows them how to have fun, while making as much money as they want and - most importantly - how to create the time to enjoy their life with their family and loved ones.

Jack has created a variety of programs, systems, tools and models to support the thousands of attorneys and accountants who have been fortunate enough to figure out that they want different. And with Jack’s help, they are creating the professional life that most professionals only dream about.
